MeDiterrate Celebrates International Conference Success
The Foundation for Mediterranean Studies – MeDiterrate proudly reflects on the successful conclusion of the International Conference “Landscapes Across the Mediterranean”, held from December 11-13, 2024, at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria, Italy.
We are delighted to highlight the over 20 submissions presented by the Foundation’s members and friends, with significant contributions from the research working groups led by Professor Maria Manola and Maria Poli of the University of West Attica in Greece.
A special acknowledgment is extended to the three distinguished keynote speakers, namely, Professor Mattheos Santamouris, University of New South Wales, Australia, Professor Konstadinos Mattas, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, and Professor Constantinos Vassiliades, Neapolis University Pafos, Cyprus.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the organizing institution, IEREK, and to our gracious hosts at the Mediterranea University of Reggio Calabria for their impeccable coordination and warm hospitality.
The “Landscapes Across the Mediterranean” conference successfully fostered a platform for interdisciplinary dialogue and collaboration, emphasizing sustainable and innovative solutions to address the challenges facing Mediterranean landscapes.
