Book Launch Event – Conference Proceedings Presented Succesfully
The NEW book, titled “1821-2021: Η Ελλάδα στη Μεσόγειο” was succesfully presented at the premises of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture.
This momentous event, supported by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, Papazisis Editions, and the Foundation for Mediterranean Studies, marks a significant milestone in Greek and Mediterranean history.
Curated by Professors Napoleon Maraveyas and Stergios Bambanasis, this insightful collection delves into the historical connections between Greece and the Mediterranean.
Distinguished speakers at the event included Minister of State Professor George Gerapetritis, former Deputy Prime Minister Professor Evangelos Venizelos, General Secretary of the Academy of Athens Professor Christos Zerefos, and former Panteion University Rector Professor Ismene Kriari. Journalist Pavlos Tsimas skillfully moderated the discussions.
Welcoming remarks were delivered by Mr. Nikos A. Koukis, President of the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, and President Theodore Stathis of the Foundation for Mediterranean Studies.
